My husband and I both love to cook, and I love to get new kitchen gadgets that help me to cook! I love garlic, but I don't like taking the time to chop it. This is the first garlic press that we have owned and I'm glad that I ordered it! I love that it is all stainless steel! It feels very sturdy and I feel certain that it will last a long time. I also like that I don't have to worry about it rusting. I was worried with a garlic press that it would be hard to use and clean, but that isn't the case at all. There are small holes on one side of the press and on the other there are metal circles that fit perfectly into those holes to push everything out. I like that I can even press unpeeled garlic. Clean-up is super easy by placing it in the dishwasher! I'm also impressed that Primal Home offers a lifetime guarantee. That is important to me because it shows me that the company takes pride in their product and cares about their customers.Disclosure: I received this product for little or no cost in exchange for testing and an honest review. I bought a garlic press from a well known company last year and apparently wore it out. The part with all the little holes in it that the garlic is pressed through actually broke in several places. To be honest, I cook from scratch daily and I use a lot of fresh garlic so my garlic press did get used almost every day. This time I knew I needed to buy a more sturdy garlic press. After looking at several, I decided to try the Primal Home Garlic Press. I liked that it was stainless steel which has a reputation for being durable and I really liked the lifetime guarantee and simple design. It shipped quickly and I had it in my hands 2 days after ordering it. I used it the day it came in and I was impressed with how easily and efficiently it pressed the garlic out. I didn't need to peel it and it left no usable garlic in the peel! My old one didn't require peeling either but a good portion of the usable garlic would be left tangled up in the skin so I had to press more garlic to get the amount I needed for my meal. This press leaves just the skin and it doesn't require as much pressure to work. It was super simple to clean too which is a real plus. A bit of garlic got stuck in the little holes but was easily removed with a small cleaning brush. The press has a little heft to it and seems to be well made. So far I'm very happy with my purchase and I hope that a year from now, this one will hold up to almost daily use.

Two good features caracterize this product: First, the basket for the garlic is one piece with the press. And second, the upper press has pins that match the holes. The result is a great item of kitchen equipment, efficient in order to get the most of every garlic clove, and easy to clean and remove the skins. Only drawback for me is the size (just for two medium sized cloves) but that's just a personal preference!!!

I bought this to replace a plastic garlic press I had just snapped in 2 while pressing garlic. I like the simple design of this press. It will hold 2 average cloves of garlic at a time (although I usually just do one at a time) I have arthritis in my thumbs but I don't find this very difficult to press. I clean it by spraying water through the holes and tossing it in the dishwasher. I think it seems very sturdy and should last a long time.
