    I bought this because I like to dry my own fresh herbs to store for later use. While I have a number of plants (basil, oregano, etc) I don't collect much from them as I keep them small due to space restrictions where I live, so this grinder is just the right size. I definitely recommend it.

    Very disappointed to say this sucked. It did not work. No instructions..packaging said it takes "3 AA" batteries, however it takes 3 AAA batteries. I read the review about the battery installation, and made sure to try the freshly bought batteries every way possible. Nothing. I will say, for the price it seemed sturdy, and the color was pretty. All the parts looked new, and there was no rust on the blades despite the previous reviews. The motor is crap though. I have just finished packaging it up to be returned.

    Bought this recently and really enjoyed dealing with the seller. Device did not work and had no instructions. I thought it might be defective, but now I realize the batteries have to be put in a certain way. They alternate positive and negative, but also, once you have put them in the internal cartridge, you also have to put the internal cartridge inside in the correct fashion. I was putting it in so the faint arrow sign pointed down towards the positive. Even when I switched it around and put the cartridge in correctly, device did not immediately work. It turned on after several seconds. Even to this day, it still only works periodically. I informed the seller and was immediately refunded, no questions asked. Maybe if you try this device, you will be pleasantly surprised. It is metal and will last. If you can settle for irritating metal screwing and battery issues, this is still a clever little device.
