If you are looking for a Garlic Press, this one will do the trick! :D
This is my new favorite kitchen gadget. I use garlic in 96% of all my meals and this Professional Garlic Press has served me well so far. Its easy to use, seriously all you do is put the bulbs into the "chamber" and hold. Voila minced FRESH garlic! Its multi-functional, you can use the back of the tool to peel the outer layers off the garlic so forget spending a while trying to peel off all the skin by hand. Its lightweight, This is important if you have a bunch of cloves you are trying to mince at once. If i had to compare it to something, id say its like holding two butter knives in your hand. Very doable. It hides well in my kitchen drawer. Again, if you have a lot of kitchen gadgets this is also a pro. I can take a picture of my utensil drawer so you have an idea on size in comparison if space is an issue. Its BEAUTIFUL. If i had to say something negative about it, I'd say the amount of time it took to arrive at my house. I live in Alaska so I'm used to waiting a while for products. Sometimes sellers get items here quickly, this one didn't. It did arrive by the date quoted after purchasing the Press however, so I wouldn't actually say its a "negative." *I received this Professional Garlic Press at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion, my opinion is what i stated above-its a great kitchen tool.

This garlic press is very nice. The handles are padded and slip proof so you can apply a lot of pressure and it won't hurt your hands. My hands are arthritic and it didn't hurt them so that's a big plus in my book. The quality is very good. The result of pressing a few cloves of garlic yielded a result somewhere between minced very small and paste, which for my purposes is perfect. It even comes with a silicone peeler that worked like a charm. You put your cloves in there and roll it a few times back and forth on the counter and the cloves are peeled. The press was very easy to clean after use-I just rinsed the residue out under running water and then swished it around in soapy water and it was done. I anticipate that this press will last me the rest of my life. Truly, this is a great press!

Three stars... so far! A full two star deduction for the fact that the handles are just way too thick! Honestly, I feel like I am using one of those hand strengthener things every time I use it! Sigh! And it opens too large for my hands (I don't have small hands!) and I have to press very firmly with both hands squeezing on the handles. Not cool, unless you are looking to strengthen your hands while pressing garlic! Hmmm.

The press is all one piece, meaning the little hopper does not come out for easy cleaning, but as with all garlic presses, I just scrape the bottom with a knife to release any left over bits. I prefer my other two presses which have removable little hoppers, but won't deduct for that preference.

The little silicone tube for peeling garlic works okay, but it is messier than if I just peel by hand.

Bottom line: I will not purchase again simply due to the size of the handles, but it seems to be well made and does a great job of pressing the garlic once you manage to get those chunky handles under submission!

The product is pretty good, though it is harder to clean than I had hoped to would be. The garlic skin remover "works," sort of. It loosens most of the skins, but this tool is not much faster than conventional methods, and the skins are hard to clean out of the silicone sleeve. I do like the over-all design, though is it suited to users with medium to large hands. A small-handed individuals may find it the press hard to use.

Had bought this looking at all the reviews but unfortunately am left with a little weirdly designed product which makes garlic mincing a bit tough. My complaint abt the design is that why did they have to make the Little basket that holds the garlic (to crush it) detached from its base and swiveling around. They should have made it like a simple lemon squeeze. Now every time I crush garlic and try to open the thing to put another one...the basket gets stuck and the handles separate. I know none of you can actually make any sense of what I am talking here. .wish I could show what I mean. I am not gonna return the product because am trying to work around the issue. But yes I must do a special mention for the garlic peeler. That little thing can peel off at least 6 garlic at one shot. Now that is a simple yet honest product.

The product seems durable, but when i use it, it doesnt seem to help me crush the garlic effectively..In some crushers i have tried, even when i put garlic with the peel on, it worked fine and exacept for the peel it would crush the rest. But in this it doesnt seem to be working that way. I have to always peel before using this crusher. And i have not yet tried ginger in this, but i have a feeling it wont work for ginger.. I am not very happy with teh product, but i guess it is ok!

I received my new garlic press right after having shoulder surgery and was not able to try it right away. When I did, I had to use my non-dominant left hand and had no trouble crushing several small or one large clove. I love the fact that I did not have to peel the garlic clove and the press still crushed it clean on the first press with very little waste. I like the soft grip handles which did not seem to be an option on many of the stainless steel models. The rubber sleeve for peeling the garlic did not seem to work for me; maybe I don't know how to use it. But it really is not necessary anyway because the press does a great job with the skin on. It is also very easy to clean and very much worth the price.

After breaking handles on other garlic presses for years, it is good to see a heavy duty, well-designed press which does what it is supposed to at a reasonable price.
So far, it has worked flawlessly, and the flip out pierced tray that holds the garlic clove is relatively easy to clean. The tray also holds almost any reasonably sized clove without need of cutting it
Workmanship on the outside features very shiny, well polished stainless steel.
The handles close only far enough to crush the garlic well, and then they meet. Perfect. This avoids over stressing the handles by those who have stronger hands.
This press looks and feels like it will last many years.

The press works well and I am going to keep using mine. However there are two things I do not like about this product. The first is that the garlic sometimes gets pushed out the top instead of through the grate. The second is that the chamber of the garlic press is not a solid piece. This means that garlic gets pressed into the cracks in the corners and makes it difficult to clean. Otherwise it's a great product.
