this is very good tasting certified organic milk. it's pasteurized too, to prevent diseases. you can make it stronger by adding more powder. sometimes i make it very strong and it still taste good no matter how much powder i use. you can be creative and add organic dutch chocolate like i do. very good product, proud to be the first to rate it.

I love this in my morning coffee. I actually bought some nice organic fresh milk a few months back, but didnt notice any improvement from this powder. This melts right into my morning brew, and with 4 choco chips, and some hazelnut paste, makes a wonderful warm beverage.

Tastes Like Powdered Milk, but mixes well

I am a two-time breast cancer survivor, so I'm quite fussy about my food and beverages! That's why I chose this particular brand.

The taste ... it's powdered, folks. To me, it tastes much like other powdered brands.

Mixing ... Through trial and error, I've learned it mixes much more thoroughly in warm water. I measure out a cup of water (or whatever I need) into a mason jar and pop it in the microwave for about 45 seconds. I measure out the powder then use my immersion blender to mix it together. Measuring this into cold liquid even with an immersion blender still leaves undissolved clumps. Yuck! Since it is a powder, you have the power to make your milk according to your personal taste preference.

Uses ... smoothies, making pudding from yogurt, hot chocolate, warm cup of bedtime milk, sauces, gravies, whatever you need milk for.

Storage ... This can be rather messy to keep in the bag, which the zip closure gets full of dusty powder and doesn't close well. As soon as I open the bag, I grab a trusty canning jar and carefully and slowly transfer the powder from the bag into the jar.

Tips ... Be sure your measuring spoon and your hands are completely dry before scooping. This powder is sensitive to moisture and becomes sticky, even with the slightest drop of water from your hands or spoon. This is the major reason I choose not to store the powder in it's original bag. Things eventually become sticky, no matter how careful you are.

If measuring into warm liquid, I first measure the powder into a small container, then transfer the powder from the small container into the warm liquid. The reason is because if your liquid is steamy, the moisture will cause the powder to stick to your measuring spoon.

I'm leaving this review as I have returned to purchase my second bag. I use this product almost daily, sometimes twice a day, and my first bag still has several days to go before hitting the end of the second month of usage. A little goes a long way.

It's Good For More Than You Might Think!

Anyone who occasionally suffers from metabolic arthritis (Gout) like I do would be well advised to add this product as a supplement to their daily diet. By modifying what you eat and (1) getting many of the purines out of your diet, (It CAN be done!) (2) drinking a sufficient amount of water everyday, along with (3) using non-fat dry milk powder as a daily prophylaxis, an occasional gout sufferer like me should be able to significantly reduce incidents of gouty attack. (I certainly did!) It's a good thing, too, because I absolutely hated taking popularly prescribed Allopurinol. Why? Because it always made me feel sick.

So far modifying my diet, avoiding many purines in my food, drinking 3 large glasses of water everyday, and adding this excellent non-fat dry milk to my daily diet has allowed me to be 95% gout-free, and to stay off of pharmaceutical gout drugs, now, for more than three years! I've tried several different brands of non-fat dry milk; and, without a doubt, Frontier makes the best!
