    I bought this to replace our old Zyliss (which I loved) but had to replace due to the coating coming off after 10 years. I was excited because this one includes a cleaning tool (our older one did not). I am not worried about the coating coming off again because if this one lasts 10 years, as well, I feel I got my money's worth. I liked being able to put more cloves in this larger size. However, I rated it four stars instead of five because when I tried to use the press with four cloves, it was really hard for me to close. I have slight arthritis in my hands and I wear a medium sized glove. I don't know if it's the combo of smaller hands, the arthritis and the slightly larger sized press, but it hurt to try to press the cloves. I'll still keep this garlic press, but I don't plan on trying to press more than two cloves at a time. If it continues to be difficult to use due to the larger press size (I have only used this once before writing this review), then I will just purchase a different garlic press that is smaller in size. I don't necessarily need to press four cloves at a time. It was a nice thought, though.

    I had the smaller version for 10 years going strong. I moved into a new house, and lost the old one. I thought I'd try my luck with this larger version. It's bigger, and almost as rigid as the smaller one of old. It's rigid enough! It a powerful press, and I'm sure I'll get just as long a life out of this one. Unless I move again, and lose it. Just buy it. Frankly, I think $20 for a garlic press is insane. But, after using it, using anything else, is insane. :)

    I had a Zyliss garlic press since the early 1980's that I bought in Switzerland and later gave it to my daughter-in-law. I then bought a larger one here in the USA that lasted a few years and then came apart. I noticed that the hinges on the one I bought here was different from the first one. I now bought this press which has the same hinges as the first one which still works perfectly. I like the fact that is large and can press more than one garlic clove at a time.
