I loved the labels ,very nice looking, large lettering and easy to read.But.................I wanted to put them on the top of my bottles (dome shaped)and they are to large for this.So think about where you would like the placement of the labels.I will have to put them on the sides of the bottles now. While that may not be a problem for some my bottles slide into the carousel sideways and I will have to pull them out to see what the labels say.The labels are 2" long and 1" wide.I gave them 5 stars because it's not the products fault where I have to place them and they have a quality look and feel to them.
I have a nice display of spice jars in my kitchen for which I hand wrote labels in 2008. Over time the ink wore off the labels and, when the jars were not put back in order, you had to use your nose to know what you were getting! I found these labels and ordered 2 packs. They peel off the backing pretty easily and apply nicely. There are blank labels so you can write up ones for spices not pre-printed. The reason I ordered 2 packs was that I knew I would need more of these than one pack supplies. I used a permanent Sharpie, so I hope they don't wear off over time like my first set (I used clear mailing labels and a silver pen that time, not the best choice). My only real complaint is that there were duplicate pre-printed labels in the packages. If they had skipped the duplicates and given more blanks or more choices, I could have gotten by with one pack.
I really like these spice labels but I wish there were a few more common pre-printed ones, also there are a few a duplicates. There are some pre-printed ones that I never use, one of them is vanilla; I would never put vanilla in a spice jar; but the really annoying thing is the blank ones. The surface is slick and I haven't been able to find any pen that doesn't rub off. The labels do look nice but I probably wouldn't recommend them because of the aforementioned reasons.
These labels are excellent quality. They are black and silver. You get a whole sheet of blank labels that work great with a black sharpie. They make your spice jars look very nice. Much better than black on clear labels I have used in the past. I combined these labels with labels for the top of the white lidded jars I bought. Spice Labels: Clear 1" Round Stickers with Black Type. Sheet Includes 95 of the Most Common Spice Names / 5 Blank Labels. Jars Not Included. (Black Text)
This gives me the ability to see the label on the front and the top.
This product was purchased to replace labels on an Olde Thompson spice rack I purchased but didn't match the ones in the rack I bought. Not sure why they wouldn't have either universal labels, or at least make ones for the rack I bought. I returned both items as I was less than satisfied.
