    I have yet to use the mortar and pestle, but it is very aesthetically pleasing sitting on my stovetop. It is heavy and the inside of the pestle is grooved to help with grinding. The first order arrive with a broken mortar, but it was immediately replaced. Overally a good purchase.

    what can i say its a pestle and mortar. it didn't come broken or chipped, shipping was fast but it came from a warehouse (i presume) that was pretty close to me. the product itself works great for my intended purpose. the first time useing it i would suggest useing some water and a sos pad to give it a good scrubbing. just a good once over, or a lot of stuff your grinding will get stuck in the grooves, more then after my little trick.
