I’ve had it for 12 years!!!!! Love it!!!!!
My sister saw this in my kitchen and liked it so I thought it would be a good Christmas gift for this year. I remember buying it from Amazon, so looked through my past order list to find it and saw I that I bought it in 2007!!!!! I actually bought two; one for me and one for my Mom. That’s when I decided I would write a review. I literally (and my Mom) use this EVERY SINGLE DAY! It’s a great addition to any kitchen, but especially one that sees a lot of cooking. It holds about 1/2-3/4 cup on each side. I use it to hold ground pepper and course ground Kosher salt. It swivels from side to side beautifully. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever had to clean the inside of it. I just keep refilling it when it runs low. However, the outside is cleaned regularly with your basic kitchen cleaner (like Lysol, etc) and it cleans up nicely. I literally use this salt pig every day and have absolutely NO complaints whatsoever. 12 years and still going strong! I hardly ever give a 5 star review, but this one deserves it!

Love the size and swivel top is well made. That said, the photo online makes it look like more of a matte/natural marble but it is actually very shiny polished marble which I wasn't expecting. I'm keeping it regardless, but for those expecting or wanting a more natural look should know its very shiny. hopefully the photos capture the sheen - I'm also showing something in matte/natural marble on top for reference.
